HOW TO ACCESS THIS SERVICE
Three steps for dialysis care
Keep to your schedule
Please attend dialysis only on your assigned treatment days and times, unless the renal team tells you otherwise. Missing sessions is not safe.
Prepare for treatment
Please bring your identification, your medications, your dialysis access information, and any instructions from your renal team. Small details matter.
Report changes early
Please tell staff about fever, shortness of breath, chest pain, swelling, access problems, or missed treatments. Early information means safer care.

What to expect
Before treatment
Please follow your diet, fluid, medication, and arrival instructions. Tell staff if you feel unwell before dialysis starts — do not sit quietly with symptoms.
On arrival
Please check in with the renal team. Staff may check your weight, blood pressure, access site, and symptoms before starting treatment.
During dialysis
Treatment time varies. Staff will monitor you throughout and respond to symptoms such as cramps, dizziness, or chest discomfort. Please speak up if you feel unwell.
After treatment
Please follow your discharge instructions and report bleeding, fever, access problems, or worsening symptoms. Do not wait for your next session.
