Nutrition and Dietary Services

Our Nutrition and Dietary Services support safe meal service and nutrition care for admitted patients. The team works closely with clinical staff to support therapeutic diets and meal needs during your stay.

HOW TO ACCESS THIS SERVICE

Three steps for dietary support

Tell staff about diet needs

Please share any allergies, religious or cultural diet needs, swallowing problems, diabetes, kidney disease, or other nutrition concerns on admission.

Follow the diet order

Your meal may be based on your doctor's or clinical team's instructions, not only your personal preference. This is part of your treatment.

Ask questions early

Please speak with the ward team if meals are not suitable, if your appetite is poor, or if special support is needed. Small problems become bigger if left.
