What to expect
Before your visit
Please write down your child's symptoms, when they started, any medication given, allergies, and any change in feeding, breathing, activity, or urination.
On arrival
Children with urgent symptoms will be assessed quickly. Waiting time depends on how urgent each child's condition is, not the order of arrival.
During care
The team may request tests, give medication, observe your child, or admit them if closer monitoring is needed. We will explain each step to you.
When to seek urgent help
Please seek emergency care for difficulty breathing, seizures, severe dehydration, severe pain, blue lips, or unusual drowsiness. Trust your instincts as a parent.
